Movie AND book now hellbent on entertaining an unsuspecting public!!!
In 2016, our family self-exiled to South America for a year. I needed to keep writing, though, both for our finances and my sanity. One morning in Quito, dizzy from the altitude, I woke up early and started writing The Present. Six years later, the movie was shot. Two years after that, it’s being released. Like our family, it’s managed to travel through time. BUT…and this is a painful qualifier…its continued existence in any form is dependent on finding an audience in the scrum of the internet. Which is incredibly hard given the short-attention-spanned world we live in now. So if you like the movie, or the book, or the concept, to any degree whatsoever, please tell your friends to check it out. A few showbiz clichés that may inspire: It’s fun for all ages! It’s fresh on Rotten Tomatoes! It was a labor of love for all concerned!
